Financial Aid Night

Hampton City Schools will be hosting a Financial Aid Night at Phoebus High School on Thursday, January 12th at 6:30 p.m. Information on how to apply for financial aid will be presented by a financial aid advisor. All juniors and seniors who are planning on going to college should attend this very important program.

PAID Internships!

The Emma Bowen Foundation is a National PAID Internship Program. We are celebrating our 23rd year of successfully placing minority students in multi-summer internships at media companies throughout the United States.

At the present time, we are recruiting minority high school seniors and incoming college freshmen. Qualified applicants should have at least a 3.0 GPA, plan to attend a 4-year college and have an interest in media, communications, business, engineering, or technology. Selected recipients are PAID and receive a matching funds scholarship to help pay for college expenses.

DECA Announcement

Phoebus High School is hosting the District 25 Deca District Leadership Conference on January 8, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Judges are needed to judge Marketing and Selling events. Please contact Kathy Elliott, 727-8581,kelliott@hampton.k12.va.us if you are willing to volunteer as a judge for this wonderful event for our students. Lunch will be provided.
